Picture re-takes are tomorrow, Thursday, December 15. Parents of students that were absent on the original picture day or those who wish to return their original package, should notify the office that their child intends to sit for a school portrait. Horizons, hosted at New Canaan Country School, is now accepting on-line applications. Please see the attached flyers for program info. There are lottery openings for students who reside in Norwalk and Stamford and are in grades Kindergarten, 2, and 4. Students in grades 1, 3, and 5-8 may apply for their wait list. Horizons at Norwalk Community College is accepting lottery applications for Summer 2023 for students in Pre-K who are entering Kindergarten in the Fall of 2023. Please visit their website at horizonsncc.org for eligibility, application, and program information. Applications are due March 1, 2023.
Tomorrow, Thursday, December 15, students will dismiss at 2:00 P.M. Please remember to sign up for a conference time with your child’s teacher.
Thank you to the students and families that supported the Scholastic book fair last week. Your support last week resulted in a generous Scholastic Dollars balance that teachers will spend to add new books and resources to their classroom collection.
There will be an All School Meeting on Thursday, December 22 at 2:30 P.M.
Thursday, December 22 is the last full day of school before the holiday recess. School will close beginning Friday, December 23 through Monday, January 2, 2023.
There will not be a December Board of Directors meeting. The next BOD meeting will be on Tuesday, January 24 at 5:15 P.M.
